Privacy Policy
Short version: the BBX Arena simulator, blog, and tournament tools collect no personal data at all. The only place on this site that ever handles any personal data is the optional, paid Judge Certification exam, and it collects the absolute minimum needed to issue a certificate.
The simulator, blog, and tournament tools
Building combos, running battles, reading guides, and generating a tournament bracket all happen entirely in your browser. No account, sign-up, or personal information is required or requested. Any settings you configure (parts, launch power, tournament rosters, etc.) are stored only in your own browser's local storage on your own device - never sent to, or stored on, any BBX Arena server.
Judge Certification (the only feature that handles personal data)
If you choose to take the paid BBX Judge Certification exam, we collect exactly two pieces of information, provided directly by you:
- The username you want printed on your certificate.
- An email address, used only to send you your certificate once you pass.
This information is used solely to run your exam attempt, grade it, and email your certificate. It is stored as a plain record tied to a random, single-use exam token for as long as needed to service that attempt and let you retrieve your certificate later - it is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for marketing.
Payments
Exam payments are processed entirely by PayPal. BBX Arena never sees, receives, or stores your card number, PayPal login, or any other payment credential - only a payment confirmation from PayPal, so we know to unlock your exam attempt. Cookies and tracking
BBX Arena does not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or any third-party tracking scripts. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell data - because we don't collect any to sell.
Data retention and deletion
Simulator/tournament settings live only in your own browser and are cleared whenever you clear your browser's site data - we have no copy to delete on our end. For judge certification records (username, email, exam result), contact us using the address below and we will delete your record on request, unless we're legally required to keep it.
